Interested in becoming a JTL apprentice?
To be eligible you must live in England or Wales and have lived in the UK for 3 or more years.
Learner Must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for the previous three years or a national of
any European Union (EU) country and ordinarily resident in the European Economic Area (EEA) for
the previous three years.
If you live in England you must be between 15 and 25 years old.

If you live in Wales you must be aged 15 years or more.
If you are a graduate living in England, you are not eligible.
You must confirm that your Colour Vision is normal. A downloadable certificate is available here.
Apply to JTL following these steps.
Register with JTL.
You will then be sent your Username and Password to the email account you
provided us with.
You must then enter your Username and Password into the Registered Users
section on this page. The Username and Password are case sensitive, please take
care inputting them.

Applicants aged 24+
Due to funding limitations JTL cannot ordinarily fund an Apprenticeship program for candidates aged 24 and over; however, you can now apply for an Advanced Learning Loan if your Apprenticeship course is starting on or after 1st August 2013. These loans will help you pay for the tuition costs associated with following an Advanced or Higher Apprenticeship program.
Most learners aged 24 and over, studying at Level 3 or Level 4 and Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships, will qualify for these new loans from the UK government. It’s straightforward to apply, your household income isn’t taken into account and there’s no credit check. You won’t have to pay anything back until your income is over £21,000 a year.
