We are the leading work based learning provider to the Building Services Engineering sector.

Established in 1990, we currently support some 10,000 individuals working towards their advanced apprenticeship in trades such as electrical installation, plumbing, engineering maintenance and heating & ventilating.

We have developed long term relationships with over 120 colleges and at the heart of everything we do are our employers, the some 4000+ companies we work with ranging from the very small to national / international contractors within the industry.

We employ 185 Training Officers, technically qualified and experienced professionals, covering every post code in England and Wales, who guide and support our learners and our Employers.


Interested in becoming a JTL apprentice?
To apply to join the JTL apprenticeship scheme you will need to register with us by opening an application account. Once registered you will be sent an email, containing your username and password details, these details must be entered in the Registered Users section to complete your application and book onto an Assessment of your choice.  The username and password are case sensitive, please take care inputting them.


To be eligible you must live in England or Wales and have lived in the UK for 3 or more years.
If you live in England you must be between 15 and 25 years old.
If you live in Wales you must be aged 15 years or more.
If you are a graduate you are not eligible.
In addition you must confirm that your colour vision is normal.  A downloadable certificate is available here.
